I use this with the eye pads for overnight rejuvenation.This is my favorite product by Peter Thomas Roth. It’s not cheap but lasts a long time. You definitely get what you pay for as well. Quality product.When you purchase this item from a “brick& mortar” location, it is really expensive-approximately $95 per container (same amount of product). So, I only purchased this due to the price difference Amazon advertised. My review: I would not buy the Peter Thomas Roth Luxury Gold Mask for full price. I will say that when I purchase skin/makeup items from Amazon because the price is noticeably lower than my local Ulta store (I do love this store!); however, more often than not, many of the items I order from Amazon regarding makeup/skin care appear to have been a returned product that was either partially used, or the packaging was unsealed, indicating prior purchase and return. This isn’t always a deal breaker, but I have returned product that was clearly used, sometimes by half. To Amazons credit, they always make these returns right (concerning refunds).Now regarding the PTRoth 24K Gold Mask:for myself, (I am 53 yrs old & always have had good skin, minimal problems). What I currently am working on is finding good products to add moisture to my skin, which is much drier as I age. There is nothing WRONG with the 24K Gold mask-generally I LOVE the Peter Thomas Roth line of products-but after using this mask, it simply didn’t seem to give me great results. It was simply a good quality facial mask that didn’t harm my skin, but it didn’t work miracles for me!?However, an interesting flip of that coin-my 26 year old daughter, who has to be careful with what she uses, since many products give her an acne breakout-REALLY liked this mask! She reported to me that she very much liked the results, and it was one of those rare products that did NOT cause her skin to break out at all! This is a huge plus for her. So, perhaps the PTR 24K Gold mask wasn’t my favorite is simply due to:1) my age2) my skin type (which is a step above fair complexion, no breakouts, and is mostly dry due to aging)Whereas my daughters skin is:1) 26 years old2) Fair complexion-she had strawberry blond hair at birth and is prone to minor acne breakouts3) Can successfully, carefully, tan in the summerTo summarize: I am sure this product is wonderful for some people , but not for myself .?Alicia H.Conway, ArkansasFor the hefty? price of $85.00?dollars?, I thought I would have gotten more for my skincare regimen. I was slight,? disappointed. I'll stick with my Dermlogica products, I won't cheat on them again!!! ?I've only used this a handful of times and haven't been blown away like I thought I'd be after spending 50$. The one thing I am impressed with is that it does plump my skiin. After using it the lines on my forehead look softer. My skin is soft but not super hydrated as they claim it will be. I have not experienced any firming effects. It does minimize my large pores temporarily and makes my complexion look bright. However I used my vitamin c scrub, toner, and lotion with the mask so I'm not sure how much of the radiance is actually from the mask and not my other products. I'm really surprised I don't love this mask because I have two other Peter Thomas Roth masks (pumpkin enzyme and Irish moor mud) and they're amazing. I'm wishing I would've listened to the reviews and passed on this and gotten the rose stem cell mask instead which has great reviews. However I'm hoping that with continued use I see more results. I will update this review if my opinion changes after prolonged use. I think this is a good product but isn't great.UpdateThe more I use this the more I like it. It took using it a few times but now when I use it my complexion glows and my face feels amazing. I love how it plumps up my skin. I still do not feel that it firms like it claims it will. I do feel like my skin looks more youthful after I use it.I took a chance after reading some less than thrilled reviews and I'm glad I did.There's been a nice change in how "fresh" my skin looks...which is wonderful since I don't use foundation on a regular basis. My skin looks plumper, some of the fine lines (including under my eyes) have seemed to disappear, and there's a bit of a glow that wasn't there before....not bad for a 65 year old face.I'm one of those people whose skin tends to break out easily in reaction to some products...this one doesn't do that. It doesn't cause my skin to get oily during the day. Note...since I do have issues of this type normally, I not only rinse off this mask, I cleanse my face after using (although I will admit that just rinsing seems to leave the skin clean).The recommended use is 2 - 3 times a week or as desired. I've been using it 4 - 5 mornings a week but will most likely decrease to 2 - 3 now that my skin is behaving better...to see if I can maintain this spending a bit less along the way.This mask is a definite keeper for me.Who doesn’t want to be draped in 24k?!This adds extra moisture and the feeling of a spa.Mine was cracked. Just slightly. Put it in a Tupperware container and good as new.Don't listen to the naysayers on here. Some are saying that you have to scrape this off, others that it does nothing. Well, I am here to tell you that his product is great! I have had acne/oily skin all of my life and this moisturizes it without making it more oily or causing a breakout. I have no trouble removing it with just a soft warm cloth. The key is to put on enough to see the gold sheen, but not so much you can no longer see your skin! Try it you will like it.Tis is excellentI really like this product. I live in northern Canada and the winter is very drying on my skin not to mention my time spent in our hot tub after skiing. This 24k mask has become a staple in my beauty regime. Wish it wasn't so pricey... it's truly liquid gold.The first time I use this product, I hope it works.I love it, needs to be continually using it every 2nd day.
