The problem with the mask is that they seem to be made for someone with a really large, flat forehead. The mask frame size is smallish, the nose pocket sized well but the silicon gasket near my temples are wide and will leak. The mouth area with snorkel in seems to seal well on my smallish top jaw and lip. I like the strap easy adjustment but have seen better straps on other Promates. Pressed tight against my head, nose bridge almost touching I can get it to seal, but only just.the snorkel looks a little strange but I can tell it is good quality compared to some others. It does make a trumpet sound at the purge valve if I breath out hard and if I tilt my head while breathing in the top valve will shut, which is fine because you don't want to inhale water.The flippers are stiff, as expected from plastic flippers. They are not horrible and adjust quite well. All the straps have quick buckles to remove them easily.I would really like this set if it wasn't for the strange fit of the mask. It doesn't leak on me but it does on my daughter.I have included some photos. Two promates, the one is a wider frame than this one but has a slightly smaller face opening and a nicer seal (left). I also compared it to my old Gull mask. See how the Promate has a huge silicon face opening compared to the Gull. The gull fits me well. (fatish face, smallish forehead). The other pic shows the two promates, the bigger mask fits my face well, I like this style of mask though.I ended up spending a little more and ordering something better, I will be doing a review on that too, ask me if you need some other comparisons.it's very reasonable price, also very good if you only looking to snuggling, not scuba dive.Mask very good, and fit our 10-year old as well as the adults in our family! Adjusable fins were comfortable and easy to adjust, but didn't seem to give a lot of power for their size...OK for snorkeling but not recommended for diving. Snorkel was a bit harder to breathe through than my good snorkel, but fine for kids. Overall decent value.I had a chance to try them out several times on vacation. The sealing on the mask is great and the fins are perfect.I recieved my order in a very timely manner and took it with me on my annual cruise this year. Received lots of compliments or my gear. The snorkel was easy to use and once figured out the tightening system on my fins I loved them. Goggles were also great as I did not have to deal with them fogging up or letting in salt water.Very satisfied customer.Size as listed is wrong! Small does not go up to 9-9.5 as listed, only goes up to a 8.5, thankfully im an 8.5-9 shoe size so i can make it work, other than that its a great product, love the valve, and got here fast!I ordered the larger size but the mask is very small for my face. Should work for our trip, but thinking ill leave it at the condo for others to try.The mask really presses hard on my nose. After about 1hr snorkeling it was really painful. No amount of adjustment helped.Fins are nice and the snorkel is wonderful. Seals up great!Water can be blown out the bottom if you get water in (while under).
