Cressi Scuba Diving Mask with Tear Drop Lenses - Enhanced Visibility for Underwater Exploration

Love this mask, fits perfect, rubber skirting is super soft and molds nicely to your face. View is excellent, it's very comfortable and did not leak a drop on two dives I put a Cressi neoprene strap cover on it to make it perfect. As with any mask with tempered glass, you must burn off the silicone residue with a barbecue lighter and scrub with toothpaste a few times to prepare it to prevent fogging. I went from 80 degree surface temp to 60 degree temps at depth with zero fogging issues. As a diver, I own alot of Cressi products, all are high quality and high end products that I trust. This mask is no different... I own 2 of them.Headed to Puerto Rico and snorkeling is on the agenda. I've rented/borrowed gear in the past and finally decided to get my own gear. My main criteria was a good seal on my facial hair without having to jump thru hoops.Fit is comfortable and snug. Stuck my face in the bathtub and no leaks! Definitely need some antifog, but that's pretty much a universal constant.I'll update after some ocean time if anything changes.Update: Mask was great! Had some very minor leakage around my mustache, but cleared easy.There's a little distortion at the edges, but not too bad. Fixed the fogging with the toothpaste rub trick. Very happy with my purchase.Very soft and comfortable. Yes, I would recommend this productgood jobThis was incredibly annoying. I’ve dived for decades and bought this to replace an older mask that was past its prime. This one would not stop fogging up, even though I washed it with dish soap in the evenings and used 2 diff defoggers…and then about a gallon of my own spit to try to keep it de-fogged mid-dive. (Imagine a deep grumble of displeasure and stinging eyes here. Then multiply it by about 10 episodes before I replaced it while on vacation.)Nice and soft but it leaked with me and other family members who tried to use itI had to tighten it a lot to make it stop leaking which made it uncomfortableThis is the second mask I have ordered based on hours of exhausting research and reading tons of reviews (the good and the bad). This mask at $75+ had just about the same balance of glowing review to bad review ratio as the $20 masks. I can't figure out what to base a decision on with two duds. There isn't a worthwhile brick and mortar scuba shop close to me, so I plod forward. This mask LOOKS nice, but just would not seal to my face. On top of that, When I press it to try and seal, it bends in places that don't seem like they should bend. It feels VERY cheap to me. Also, it came with a mask case but no lid! Inside was a small warning printed in 100 languages but no instructions on how to prep the mask or care instructions. It also had a confusing strap tightening mechanism that wasn't at all intuitive to figure out. The parts seemed as cheap as something out of a gumball machine and I was scared I was going to push or pull something wrong and have it snap off. I figured it out, but it could have easily broken had I pulled one latch instead of pushing. Just really poor quality for the price point. Ihave an old mask that works fine, I want to get one with a better visual field. The pano and the twin lens masks boast that feature. Disappointed in this one big time. I'm not sure who was writing all the glowing reviews, but they weren't reviewing the mask I got in the mail.This was a good mask. The material is softer and more comfortable then other masks I've owned. Very clear, no leaks, and no fogging. Good buy.Very difficult to find a reasonably priced mask these days to accommodate anything other than a regular sized nose! We didn't want to spend a fortune as it's just for snorkelling on holiday and not diving. Contacted Cressi and they suggested we try this mask. It didn't fit my husband's face at all, couldn't create the vacuum suction needed when testing for fit, mask just fell away from the face. This means it would have leaked when in use. So returned. Nice mask in itself, just not for us. That's the problem with masks, it's trial and error, so good to have Prime! In the end we went to a dive shop and found one that fitted.So the bottom line is this mask and any other mask is either going to fit your face or it is not. For me this mask is a perfect fit as no pressure is needed for it to seal to my face,some people try many masks before they find a correct fitting one. The same principle is with clothes and shoes ,depends on the brand etc to wether it is going to fit you properly but in this case it is a bit more important but for the price and that it fits for me this mask is perfect.Works well, I scuba dived and survived, no leakage into my mask. It's a little pricey because you can also buy with a snorkel included for around the same price if you aren't fussed on the colour.Fantastic Mask, the seal around the face is very soft but firm and doesn’t leak. The mask doesn’t need to be heavily tightened to your face/head as it seals very well.My head circumference is 59” for reference to other people considering purchasing this mask.Was used in Sri Lanka & Maldives, doesn’t fog up and sit very comfortably on my face. The bonus of this mask is that you can upgrade to prescription lenses should you need which is why I bought this mask even though I am yet to upgrade.The mask comes in a sturdy plastic clear box and has instructions on how to adjust and care for this product which would be useful for the beginner.To me this is a must buy, best mask I have ever worn.Initially I thought these would be too bulbous, replacing an aging and scratched slim line cressi.Comes in a large protective plastic box and simple to adjust to head size (I’m a medium). Only used so far for snorkelling and doesn’t mist or leak.Speedy delivery too, thanks prime!
