They are so comfortable and breathable. Probably not the best in terms of blocking things out but also better than wearing nothing and great for when I'm at work e cleaning rooms cuz I get so hot and these made it tolerable when we were required to wear them still.I was able to wear these all day and be able to breathe comfortably!This was recommended by a friend. So glad I got the pkg of 5. These are formed so they do not block your nostrils so you can breathe easily. Soft. Forms to your face. My husband loves them too.I've washed these several times. I'm not sure if the smell is from the plastic that keeps the mask propped up, or the material the masks are made from. Other reusable masks I own don't smell chemically like these. Still usable, but they are my back-up masks.Very easy to put on. The wire in the middle makes it easier to breathe, and I like the soft fabric very much. I plan to buy it for children as well.Sorry, it was my mistake, I thought I had ordered 2 each of black ,blue and white.. And was disappointed when I received only one white. No problem, everything was as I ordered it.
