50-Pack Silver 3-Ply Face Masks with Earloop for Daily Protection

I work in an office support role on a nurses' s station at a major US hospital and really liked the disposable, purple single use mask I received from my employer by the brand, Defend. I wore mine for about a week until it started to get a little fuzzy. Once the purple masks ran out, our only option was the cheap yellow ones that didn't fit as well. The Defend brand masks are impossible to find unless you run the supply chain at a hospital or dentist office, so I searched around for a comparable purple mask and hesitantly purchased these. I'm really glad I did! They are slightly lighter purple than the Defend brand but the only other noticeable difference was that the Defend brand mask has a nose/chin wire on both the top and bottom. These masks from this Amazon seller only have the nose wire on the top, which is fine. Otherwise they are the same size, shape, number and position of pleats, soft stretchy ear ties, white on the inside, very comfortable and no lingering smell, etc. They seem to be the same 3-ply thickness as Defend masks and no you can't blow a candle out with this mask on. Some complaints other people have is that these aren't N95's but they never claimed to be. They are meant for single use, go out and get your groceries, go to work type of masks. And I think they're perfect for what they're intended for.I love the color, feel, and comfort of these masks. My ears don’t feel pulled forward. My one disappointment is that the first five masks had the thin bit of metal for the nose adjustment for a more secure fit, but the rest I have used are missing that extra piece. Otherwise this is a pretty good mask and I am happy I purchased them.I like the material very much, soft and thicker than some other styles out there. Fits well. I’d totally recommend.They do not look anything like the photo and have fiber hairs on them that almost make them look furry.I was pretty satisfied with a similar mask I purchased from another vendor but these are better quality and I like the color. I wear each mask multiple days and have not had a strap break yet. I started by wearing cotton reusable masks but fit wasn't great. These fit nicely around my face and the nose wire greatly reduces my glasses from steaming up. These just work much better any cotton reusable I tried. I now feel like the cotton masks are more for show.I worked through brush fire air for multiple days and although these mask are not designed to eliminate the smoke smell they do reduce it. I was breathing better when wearing the mask.Update 1/13 - Finally getting ready to order more. These have great. Not even one broken strap.These masks are THE best! Everyone at work loves them, thin people, thick people, every peopleOrdered for the color but this mask is very durable. I wear one in the hospital every day and it does not start to break down or get fuzzy inside even after 8 hrs.I love the lavender color! These masks are of better quality than the ones supplied at my hospital. I am a nurse and the cheap hospital-provided masks drove us crazy for over a year and a half causing itching and irritation of our noses. These lavender masks don't cause any itching or irritation while wearing.
