Received a defective mask the first time as it had a bad charge port. The charging cable that came with the mask would not plug in far enough to make connections. That said, it is a fun mask with lots of shapes and expressions. It is thicker than I expected but also smaller. If you have a large head, it will likely not cover your entire face. It is really for kids, but that does not stop it from being a fun Halloween mask. Hope the 2nd one will charge better than the first.EDIT: the replacement came with the same issue. I ended up cutting the charging cable slightly at an angle so it would fit in. (see updated pics. ) However with out this modification, it is not able to be charged.While this is a review of a free or reduced price product, it is an honest review of the product, no different than if I purchased the item at full price.I actually already had a mask from another distributor that this one turned out to be the exact match of!I had been interested in trying an LED mask for a while after seeing them around Halloween; with the variety of patterns and brightness being a priority, this one fit my needs perfectly - and my kids fighting over it meant a second one was an easy present.The brightness is actually a bit TOO harsh, to the point that it's hard to make out parts of animations even in the daytime. Viewing from a distance helps, but I'd much rather it be too bright than too dim in any case.Like others have said, the structure of the mask itself is kind of bare - with it feeling as if wearing a piece of cardboard strapped to your face using sponges for the eyes and nose. An adjustable strap would be a bit better, or a softer foam, but it's not terrible.Seeing out of the mask is easier than I expexted, since the lights don't reflect through the slots; but it's also kind of tricky as your field of view is limited more than normal eye-holes. Walking in the dark is easy enough, with the aforementioned brightness acting like a flashlightThe animations and faces themselves are awesome, and look at least as good as the pic in the listing; my kids and I spent hours going through them all over and over before it even got dark out! I'd definitely recommend grabbing this for the price - or even more if you're kids love it as much as mine!This mask just had my teenaged son's name written all over it, and I was right, he loves it. He immediately unboxed it and we had a good time testing out all the different "faces". The LEDs are bright with vivid colors- when my son is wearing it with a hoodie he kind of glows from the lights shining on his hoodie. The mask itself is made of a thick, sturdy plastic and the thick piece of foam around the eyes makes it comfortable to wear. Visibility for the wearer is pretty good- you can see fine to walk or more around through the eye "holes".Our two minor suggestions for improvement: It would be great if you could get to the face you want without clicking the button 50 times to get there. Also, maybe make that button separate from the on/off button? Overall, though, a great mask that I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot in our home!The LED Mask is a fun and unique way to get into the Halloween spirit. The mask is also adjustable so that it will fit most adults.Overall, I think the LED Mask is an excellent addition to any costume or party. It's much fun to wear and really stands out in a crowd. The mask is also very affordable, making it a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a unique and festive way to celebrate Halloween.
